BACKUP | RESTORE (Mac)

CREATE A BACKUP

Before starting you will need the following things done.
- Firmware 1.2.0 or higher loaded on your mio X Series interface - Check Out this video on loading firmware
- SysEx Libarian (Mac) OR MIDI OX and MIDIOX with MIDI SysEX file transfer Utility

​Mac Instructions (SysEx Librarian)

- Open SysEx Librarian
- Drag the back commands file for your interface into the main window.

​Select ANY port on the interface you want to Backup

​Select the play button.

tiny box will appear on the window. Once this disappears select "Record Many" as quickly as possibly.

​Once the message stop recording you can select "Done"

After this you should see an "untitled" file in SysEx librarian.

Click on the name once to edit. This is the Backup file of your interface.

RESTORE

You can now use this file to restore your settings onto the same interface or another of the same kind simply by playing the recorded file back to ANY port on the destination interface
